Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is participating at BDFIL Festival de bande dessinée Lausanne with the exhibition «Destins illustrés en temps de pandémie».

The artist Carole Isler captured artistically (scenes and portraits) the activities launched in Switzerland in spring 2020 in response to the Covid 19 pandemic. After working with MSF in the refugee camp on the Greek island of Chios, Carole set off this time to discover the daily life of the humanitarian workers* who worked all over the world and of whom few could have imagined that one day they would be crossing the epidemic-stricken French-speaking part of Switzerland. For two months, MSF's " «mission suisse» consisted of supporting the efforts of cantons, towns and associations to help the most needy in the face of the pandemic. It is only the third time in MSF's history that MSF has intervened in Switzerland, and this latest mission bears witness to the exceptional nature of this period we are living through.

During the exhibition, which will be installed in the Espace des Inventions, visitors* are invited to discover MSF's work through the illustrations by Carole. Everyone is invited to participate in the workshop, which will be open throughout the festival.
